How to Create a Wedding Cupcakes Display

Dress My Cupcake was honored to have been a part of Sarah & Jack’s modern Manhattan Beach wedding, which was recently featured in top wedding blog Style Me Pretty. The couple chose to include cupcakes dressed in Emma Black Cupcake Wrappers as part of the dessert offerings. The 4-tier wedding cupcake cake was topped off with a gorgeous white wedding cake, adorned with beautiful white florals. Each tier included beautiful, gourmet cupcakes designed by premier bakery Cupcakes Couture Manhattan Beach. The couple chose a black, white and natural green color scheme, which carried through the entire event. Even the cupcake decor matched this modern wedding color scheme, with the frosting, and chocolate accents keeping in perfect harmony with the overall event decor.

To create your own stunning wedding cupcake display, follow Sarah and Jack’s lead by coordinating your cupcake decor with your overall wedding decor. Choose from 40 colors of Emma Designer Cupcake Wrappers to ensure that your cupcake tower matches the scheme. Continue to match colors when choosing frosting, sprinkles, chocolate accents and more — the small details will truly turn your wedding cupcake tower from simple to sensational. You may even accent parts of your cupcake stand with ribbon and crystals that match the overall color scheme.

Finally, one of the most overlooked aspects of creating a wedding cupcake display is the backdrop. Build your wedding cupcake display against the best backdrop available at your venue, which may not necessarily be the most obvious location. Setting your wedding cupcake tower against a blank wall, for example, will make it difficult to photograph the cupcakes in a desirable way. Instead, set your cupcake tree against a natural backdrop (trees for example), or against a stunning area in the venue, such as the textured wall that Sarah and Jack chose. If a desirable backdrop doesn’t exist, create one! You’ll be thrilled you spent the time in doing so, once you see the results in your cherished wedding album. Beach Themed Designer Cupcakes

Surf’s up! These gorgeous beach-inspired couture cupcakes in Emma designer cupcake wrappers were sent to us by Roni of Roni Sugar Creations. These cupcakes would be absolutely perfect for upcoming summer luaus, beach party celebrations, and destination weddings!

Roni, the owner of Roni Sugar Creations, used the Emma Designer Cupcake Wrappers to highlight the detailed sugar decorations, including surfboards, palm trees, flowers and starfish. Veering away from traditionally bright luau colors, such as lime green, purple and fuchsia, Roni instead decided to take a more natural route to create these Hawaiian designer cupcakes. The color palette was guided by chocolate cupcakes and royal blue frosting. The delicate sugar decorations were created using shades of blue, green, purple, orange and yellow. The shades used on the sugar decorations were complemented perfectly with ivory beige cupcake wrappers, lemon yellow cupcake wrappers and burnt orange cupcake wrappers, a natural, beach-themed palette. For a special event, display tropical cupcakes in designer cupcake wrappers on the wholesale 5-tier Annabel Cupcake Stand. To display up to 300 cupcakes, choose the Isabella 5-Tier Cupcake Tower.

Are you planning to serve cupcakes at your beach-themed wedding or luau? Send photos of your tropical beach cupcake display to us at love@dressmycupcake.com and we’d love to feature you in our next blog post!
