Summer is the best time to practice your cupcake recipes because you can involve the kids in baking. Teach them about measurements and baking becomes an educational experience. During the summer months you have more time to play around with recipes and learn the basics. Then by the time September rolls around and your little kitchen helpers are back in the classroom you’ve already mastered your cupcakes.

These peach cobbler cupcakes can be made with fresh fruit of any kind. They’re made from a simple cake box mix too so your grocery list stays neat and intact. The recipe, from Loving Every Second, calls for a can of peaches but if you have fresh all the better in our book. We like adding fresh fruit whenever possible. Michelle tells us her secret is adding some of the peach syrup from the can. I love cupcake recipes that call for applesauce. It definitely seems to be healthier and makes sweeter cupcakes.
After you’ve separated the cupcakes into their cupcake liners, poke a peach into each cupcake. Of course for the real recipe follow Michelle’s advice. Our favorite part about this recipe is the fresh peach frosting made from peach syrup. A little tip courtesy of Michelle: if you don’t have a cupcake decorating bags, use a sandwich bag instead! How creative and smart.
These cute yummy cupcakes look delicious. We can’t wait to mix up a batch and invite the girls over for tea and peach cobbler cupcakes. With a few colorful orange cupcake wrappers and pink cupcake liners these will be perfect. Fuchsia and orange are very popular for summer. These are perfect for an all girls birthday party or summer picnic. With peach frosting, these are perfect for strawberry lemonade or sangria. What do you think: would these cupcakes be making an appearance at your next party?
