Cupcake Ingredient Spotlight: Peach Cobbler Cupcakes

Summer is the best time to practice your cupcake recipes because you can involve the kids in baking. Teach them about measurements and baking becomes an educational experience. During the summer months you have more time to play around with recipes and learn the basics. Then by the time September rolls around and your little kitchen helpers are back in the classroom you’ve already mastered your cupcakes.

These peach cobbler cupcakes can be made with fresh fruit of any kind. They’re made from a simple cake box mix too so your grocery list stays neat and intact. The recipe, from Loving Every Second, calls for a can of peaches but if you have fresh all the better in our book. We like adding fresh fruit whenever possible. Michelle tells us her secret is adding some of the peach syrup from the can. I love cupcake recipes that call for applesauce. It definitely seems to be healthier and makes sweeter cupcakes.

After you’ve separated the cupcakes into their cupcake liners, poke a peach into each cupcake. Of course for the real recipe follow Michelle’s advice. Our favorite part about this recipe is the fresh peach frosting made from peach syrup. A little tip courtesy of Michelle: if you don’t have a cupcake decorating bags, use a sandwich bag instead! How creative and smart.

These cute yummy cupcakes look delicious. We can’t wait to mix up a batch and invite the girls over for tea and peach cobbler cupcakes. With a few colorful orange cupcake wrappers and pink cupcake liners these will be perfect. Fuchsia and orange are very popular for summer. These are perfect for an all girls birthday party or summer picnic. With peach frosting, these are perfect for strawberry lemonade or sangria. What do you think: would these cupcakes be making an appearance at your next party?

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month With Festive Cupcakes

September 15th through October 15th marks Hispanic Heritage Month. According to census.gov, ‘America celebrates the culture and traditions of those who trace their roots to Spain, Mexico and the Spanish-speaking nations of Central America, South America and the Caribbean.” Did you know that Hispanics make up for the largest ethnic or race minority in the United States? I found some really cool Dia De Los Muertos cupcakes and I know that it’s not All Hallows Eve yet but these cupcakes would be really great to celebrate Hispanic heritage and culture.

Cupcake Ideas: How To Make Healthy Cupcakes

I made a new years resolution to eat healthier. Well, the year is almost over so I suppose it’s time to stick to it. Healthy cupcakes. That’s right, cupcakes made healthier. I found a great recipe for Carrot Cake Cupcakes and these are just in time for Fall. The most popular Fall cupcakes tend to be Carrot Cake, Pumpkin Bread and Spiced Apple. These Carrot Cake Cupcakes are delicious with or without frosting and would be great in any Orange Cupcake Wrappers. For healthy substitutes, apple sauce can be used instead of butter in some recipes. Rich dairy can be swapped out for soy products. And as long as your guests don’t have nut allergies, you can always add extra protein by including walnuts or almonds.

Summer Cupcakes: Ice Cream Cupcake Wrappers!

I nabbed this beautiful cupcake photo from myrecipes.com

I’m jumping on the ice cream bandwagon because it is SO ridiculously hot outside. Can you blame me? What a perfect little dollop of chilly goodness these cupcakes are. I’m not quite sure how messy these creations can become but I’m  bound and determined to succeed at this. I’m thinking of making a small batch and then delivering them to a friend as summer cheery present.

These cupcakes would be perfect in glitter cupcake wrappers because they’re reusable. If I spill or get any melted ice cream on them you can wipe it up and your photo is still picture perfect.

Delicious looking isn’t it? Fresh from bakingbites.com

And I’m telling you, these pale yellow cupcakes would be perfect for a mid-summer surprise baby shower. Kiwi Green, Emma white and Emma orange cupcake wrappers would be perfect for a baby mama who doesn’t know the sex of the baby yet.

See what I mean? How adorable would these spring time cupcake wrappers be with that lemon yellow icing?

But I digress, a little too much baby on the mind. Especially with the hot new mini cupcake wrappers we’ve just released. They’re just dying to be eaten by little mini faces.
